About Anna Nagy
Anna Nagy aka “Naj” has been an active force in the Breakdancing (B/boy B/girl) scene for nearly 20 years. Starting in elementary school her favorite pastime was always meeting up with friends to listen to music and dance. She has studied and performed in a variety of dance styles since childhood. A tried and true Bgirl, she has won first place in numerous solo Bgirl Battles across the US and in Canada, and placed in an international competition in Australia. She judges local Seattle competitions and has been invited to judge and teach workshops nationally. She has many years of performance experience and as a long time member of Fraggle Rock Crew still performs regularly. FRC has opened for such artists as Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliot, Black Eyed Peas, Eric B & Rakim. As part of her passion she does frequent shows at schools and community events including a positive message for kids that focuses on on respect, anti- bullying, and the history of hip hop culture. She helps FRC in hosting the legendary annual Sweet Sixteen Bboy Battle. She runs Soulful Mondays and Cypher Queen which are all ages practice sessions for freestyle dancers. Anna has been teaching for 10 years and currently teaches kids and adults classes.
