School Programs

Moving Minds is more than just a name. It's a philosophy for how we learn and engage with new ideas.

Dance and movement can have an incredible impact on academic learning. We have vast experience teaching
dance in public, private, and pre- school settings, and we know how to light up your students' love to learn.

Workshops and Residencies
We would love to work with you to develop a workshop or residency specifically designed with your classroom or grade band's learning goals in mind. We can collaborate with you to develop a program as small to a one-time visit or as extensive as a three-month integration with a long-term unit.

Our standard rates for school residencies are $55/ teaching hour and $30/ planning hour.

We can also arrange assemblies or all-school presentations starting at a flat event rate of $300.

We are a Creative Advantage Community Arts Partner!
Creative Advantage is a partnership between the City of Seattle, Seattle Public Schools, the Seattle Foundation, and Community Organizations. Through this initiative, Seattle Schools are granted funding to provide arts quality arts programs.

Our place on the Arts Partner Roster means that your Seattle school may already have funding in place to bring Moving Minds into your classroom!
